Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Estimator in the United States to develop conceptual and bid-stage estimates for major heavy civil and transportation projects. You will review plans, perform takeoffs, and establish budgets in collaboration with multiple teams to support competitive proposals.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in design-build/P3 environments and a solid grasp of labor, equipment, and material pricing for large infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience on large design-build, P3 civil projects (roads, bridges, tunnels).
• Experience supporting the bidding process.
• Working knowledge of estimating software and quantity take-off tools.
• Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and bid-stage estimates and budgets.
• Set-up WBS for heavy civil/transportation projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs and BoQ documents.
• Develop direct/ indirect cost estimates from specs and drawings.
• Coordinate with estimating, engineering, PM, procurement and finance teams across pursuits.
