Job summary

Niche SSP - No.1 for Estimating Talent in Atlanta seeks a senior commercial construction estimator to lead bid development from initial review through final submission. You will perform detailed quantity takeoffs, develop scopes, review subcontractor pricing, and work with operations to craft complete, competitive bids for Metro Atlanta projects with minimal travel.

The role requires 5+ years of GC estimating, proven bid management, and strong software skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience with a General Contractor.
• Experience independently managing estimates.
• Experience across sectors: K-12, higher education, municipal, hospitality, office, multifamily, commercial interiors, adaptive reuse, or renovations.
• Strong quantity takeoff and subcontractor solicitation experience.
• Strong estimating software skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage estimates and bids from initial review through final submission.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and general estimating.
• Develop scopes and review subcontractor pricing.
• Work closely with operations teams to develop complete and competitive bids.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and trade partners.
• Organize and manage estimating data, bid documentation, and project information.
• Present estimates internally and support client presentations when required.
• Assist with business development and project pursuits.
• Support projects primarily throughout Metro Atlanta with minimal travel.
