Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an Estimator in Dayton, Ohio to own the estimating process for precision machining, composites, and tooling projects within an aerospace/defense manufacturing environment.

You will review RFQs, develop labour and material cost models, coordinate supplier quotations, and support programs from quotation through to production launch, with a focus on delivering accurate, competitive quotations and driving profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with ERP/MRP system experience.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs and develop labour and material cost models.
• Coordinate supplier quotations and evaluate production risks.
• Support programs from quotation through to production launch.
• Deliver competitive quotations in collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and PM.
