The Senior Estimator will develop detailed cost estimates, ensure accuracy in project budgeting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success.

Position Overview

The Senior Estimator will develop detailed cost estimates, ensure accuracy in project budgeting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to gather data and ensure the accuracy of cost estimates.
• Analyze blueprints, project specifications, and other materials to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates using industry-standard software and manual calculations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project costs.
• Present estimates to clients, contractors, and internal teams for review and approval.
• Monitor construction progress, adjusting estimates as necessary to account for changes in scope or costs.
• Stay up-to-date with local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with modular construction experience preferred.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Certification as a Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
