Job summary

Leoforce in Jessup, MD is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead the bid process from start to finish, prepare bid packages, and provide accurate cost estimates for diverse construction projects. You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field crews, manage RFIs promptly, and help keep projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in construction estimation and project management.
• Proven bid management experience with RFIs and bid packages.

Permanent Senior Estimator

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Senior Estimator, your main duties will include:

• 1. Managing the entire bid process from start to finish, ensuring all stages are completed accurately and on time.
• 2. Preparing and delivering bid packages, including all necessary documentation and information.
• 3. Handling RFI's (Request for Information) in a timely and professional manner, ensuring all queries are answered accurately and completely.
• 4. Providing accurate cost estimation for all projects, taking into account all aspects of the project including materials, labor, equipment, and any other relevant factors.
• 5. Overseeing project management, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standard, on time and within budget.
• 6. Collaborating with other team members, including project managers, engineers, and construction workers, to ensure all projects run smoothly.
• 7. Continuously monitoring industry trends and changes, and updating estimation methods and strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Permanent Senior Estimator, candidates must have:

• 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on estimation and project management.
• 2. Proven experience managing the bid process, handling RFI's, preparing bid packages, and providing accurate cost estimation.
