Job summary

Ace Technologies, LLC in Georgia is seeking an Estimating Manager to lead the division's estimating team, oversee accuracy and profitability of bids, and report to the Director of Business Development. This role drives bid strategy and cost estimation for commercial construction projects.

You will coordinate with operations and executives, prepare BOMs, takeoffs, RFIs, and proposals, and mentor a small team while ensuring timely, competitive pricing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of systems/low-voltage estimating in industrial or commercial settings.
• Strong leadership and team development experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and blueprints.
• Detail-oriented with bid strategy and cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Directly leads, develops, and manages the estimating team, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and ensuring team productivity and consistency.
• Drives estimating strategy, bid selection, and risk evaluation, partnering with operations and executive leadership to influence which projects to pursue and how they are priced.
• Perform all aspects of systems/low-voltage estimating including composing BOMs, taking offs, inputting data, submitting RFIs, and writing proposals.
• Assist the estimating team to coordinate and streamline the bid process on each project.
• Analyze blueprints and documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
