Qualifications

• At least five years of estate planning experience.
• Strong experience drafting estate planning documentation.
• Knowledge of trust and estate administration procedures.
• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals or business owners is advantageous.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical and communication skills.
• North Carolina Bar admission or eligibility for admission.
• Ability to manage client relationships and matters with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Advise individuals and families on estate planning and wealth preservation strategies.
• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney and other estate planning documentation.
• Assist with trust and estate administration matters.
• Advise clients on succession planning, asset protection and wealth-transfer arrangements.
• Work with clients and their advisers to develop effective estate planning solutions.
• Manage client matters independently and maintain high standards of client service.
• Collaborate with colleagues across complementary practice areas where required.
