Job summary

AtWork Group in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a full-time estate planning attorney to craft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and asset protection plans, guiding clients through complex processes with a client-centered approach.

You will meet clients online, in-office at two NC locations, or via in-home consultations across the Triad, delivering clear advice, ensuring proper probate handling, and maintaining organized case records.

Qualifications

  • Active North Carolina Bar license.
  • 5+ years in estate planning, probate & trust administration.
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • LL.M. in Tax or Estate Planning.
  • Board Certified Specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with prospective clients and lead them through a comprehensive estate planning process.
  • Provide expert legal advice and deliver superior estate planning and asset protection work products.
  • Research, design, and create complex, customized estate plans tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Guide clients through the probate process with clear, actionable advice.
  • Represent clients in uncontested guardianship and probate hearings.
  • Create wills, trusts, and powers of attorney; educate clients on retirement, charitable giving, and insurance options.
  • Maintain detailed, organized records of client interactions and case progress.
