SMB Team seeks a senior Estate Planning and Probate Paralegal to join our Sugar Land office. You will support attorneys in estate planning and uncontested probate matters, handling documents, client questionnaires, signings, and communications.

The role requires 8+ years in estate planning and probate paralegal work, ABA-certified credentials, and a professional, client-facing demeanor for domestic and international clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of estate planning paralegal experience.
• 8+ years of probate paralegal experience.
• ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent English grammar and proofreading skills.
• Ability to read cursive writing.
• Business professional attire and appearance.
• Strong communication with domestic and international clients.

Responsibilities

• Draft estate planning and probate documents and packages.
• Compile, draft, and assemble estate planning packages based on attorney notes and client questionnaires.
• Gather any missing information from clients.
• Prepare, organize, and participate in signings (Notary Public required, or ability to obtain).
• Review legal documents for inconsistencies and errors.
• Provide organizational support to attorneys, tracking client matters and court dockets.
• Draft professional client communications and respond promptly to inquiries.
