The role requires 8+ years in estate planning and probate paralegal work, ABA-certified credentials, and a professional, client-facing demeanor for domestic and international clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of estate planning paralegal experience.
• 8+ years of probate paralegal experience.
• ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent English grammar and proofreading skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft estate planning and probate documents and packages.
• Compile, draft, and assemble estate planning packages based on attorney notes and client questionnaires.
• Gather any missing information from clients.
• Prepare, organize, and participate in signings (Notary Public required, or ability to obtain).
• Review legal documents for inconsistencies and errors.
• Provide organizational support to attorneys, tracking client matters and court dockets.
• Draft professional client communications and respond promptly to inquiries.

Our client, a boutique law firm in estate planning and probate for high-net-worth individuals and small business owners, is seeking a well-experienced Estate Planning and Probate Paralegal to join their in-office team in Sugar Land, Texas. Role Overview:

You will assist attorneys in delivering exceptional service to valued clients, supporting estate planning and uncontested probate matters from start to finish. This is a hands-on, client-facing position for a proactive professional who thrives in a supportive, high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft estate planning and probate documents and packages.
• Compile, draft, and assemble estate planning packages based on skill, attorney notes and client questionnaires.
• Gather any missing information from clients.
• Prepare, organize, and participate in signings (Notary Public required, or ability to obtain).
• Review legal documents for logical inconsistencies and errors.
• Provide organizational support to attorneys, keeping track of client matters and court dockets.
• Draft professional client communications via email. Respond promptly to client inquiries. Keep clients informed about status, as needed.
