Blue Ridge Associates, a leading ESOP and retirement plan services firm, seeks a Senior ESOP Strategy Consultant to forecast and advise on ESOP operations for clients across the country.

The role emphasizes strategic consulting, plan re-engineering, and thought leadership, with remote-first culture and opportunities for in-person collaboration across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years retirement industry ESOP experience required.
• CPA, QKA, QPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Discuss assumptions used in the ESOP study.
• Review results with the client.
• Provide consulting on managing repurchase obligation solutions.
• Assist with pre-transaction ESOP consulting and plan re-engineering.
• Attend proposal meetings and calls with prospects.
• Represent internal/external speaking opportunities (trainings, webinars, conferences).
• Write articles for publication.

Blue Ridge Associates is a leading professional services firm specializing in third-party administration of Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) and retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), cash balance, pension, and other qualified retirement plans.

Senior ESOP Strategy Consultant

That’s Where You Come in as a Senior ESOP Strategy Consultant services our clients by providing forecasts and recommendations in the operation of their ESOP.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Discussing assumptions used in the study
• Reviewing results with client
• Providing consulting on managing repurchase obligation solutions

The Strategy Consultant May Also

• Assist with new ESOP pre-transaction consulting and plan re-engineering.
• Assist the Business Development Team – attending proposal meetings and calls with prospects
• Participate in internal and external speaking opportunities (internal training sessions, client webinars, and ESOP conferences)
• Write articles for publication

Skills/Abilities

• Excellent written/oral communication, organization, and client service skills required.
• Strong time management skills.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and set priorities with minimal supervision while effectively managing a large project list.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external clients.
• Interpret ESOP legal documents

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years retirement industry experience with strong background in ESOP knowledge
• Obtain CPA, QKA, QPA, or equivalent certification

The annual base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $145,000. This range represents the anticipated pay for this role across multiple U.S. labor markets and is intended as a general guideline.

Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the role, relevant experience, work location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and current business considerations.
