Job summary

Blue Ridge Associates is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant to manage a client portfolio of 401(k) and other qualified plans, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and exceptional service. You will work as a trusted advisor with clients, advisors, and recordkeepers.

With 2–6 years of experience in plan administration, you’ll translate complex ERISA guidance into practical solutions, maintain data in CRM, and help test and file government forms.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of related experience in plan administration and plan review.
• 2 years of hands-on plan administration experience.
• Experience with retirement plan administration and compliance software.
• Experience with 401(k) and 403(b) Plans, Profit Sharing, Cash Balance and Defined Benefit Plans.
• Proven ability to work directly with clients, advisors, and recordkeepers.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring timely review and delivery of annual compliance testing and filings.
• Maintaining accuracy of data in CRM for plan load and reporting.
• Communicating with customers and assisting with benefit distributions.
• Developing relationships with clients, advisors & CPAs.
• Interfacing with recordkeeping providers to ensure a positive client experience.
• Developing technical skills to become a subject matter expert in regulatory practices.
