Amentum in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Senior Safety Specialist to develop and implement ESOH programs. The role ensures OSHA compliance, conducts risk assessments, and leads safety training and incident investigations to protect personnel and assets.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, coordinating training, and advising leadership on safety policy. This position requires a strong background in safety, regulatory knowledge, and effective communication within a complex program environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of occupational safety experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret regulations and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement ESOH programs to improve safety.
• Perform safety inspections, audits, and risk analyses with leadership.
• Coordinate OSHA training and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare written safety reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Support environmental and hazardous materials management and emergency response.
