Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) seeks a Lead ESG Certification & Verification Assessor to deliver accredited certification, verification, and assurance services across North America. This remote role offers significant client engagement, international exposure, and working across sectors including Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Technology, and Data Centers.

Travel is expected 50% to 75%, primarily within the United States.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, or related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience involving auditing or assessment of management systems.
• Experience evaluating performance against EHS, quality, or management system objectives.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001.
• Working knowledge of ISO 17021 and/or ISO 17029 requirements.
• Strong understanding of US/Americas EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, industry-specific).
• Excellent report writing and communication, ability to travel 50-75%.

Responsibilities

• Lead certification, verification, and assurance assessments per ERM CVS procedures.
• Plan, conduct, and manage audits including interviews, evidence review, reporting.
• Deliver clear, accurate assessment reports and recommendations.
• Maintain technical expertise across standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Support continuous improvement of ERM CVS methodologies and processes.
• Share knowledge and build client relationships across engagements.
• Identify opportunities to support client needs and collaborate with leadership.
