Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc is seeking an Environmental Scientist to work in Paducah, KY or St. Louis, MO. The role focuses on Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments and supports permitting and regulatory compliance across Kentucky and Missouri.

You will build client relationships and establish yourself as a technical resource in environmental due diligence and reporting. Ideal candidates will have 5–10 years of Phase I/II experience, strong knowledge of federal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or higher in environmental field.
• 5–10 years of environmental consulting or related experience.
• Experience with Phase I ESAs and Phase II investigations.
• Familiarity with federal/state environmental regulations.
• Experience with permitting/regulatory compliance preferred.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across KY/MO.

Responsibilities

• Phase I and Phase II Projects – Independently conduct ESAs per ASTM and perform Phase II investigations.
• Environmental Sampling & Data Evaluation – collect samples and interpret results for decisions.
• Permitting & Regulatory Compliance – prepare permit docs and assist agency coordination.
• Technical Reporting & Communication – draft reports and correspondence for clients and regulators.
• Project & Technical Support – QA/QC deliverables and assist with scopes, schedules, budgets.
