Job summary

A leading construction and project management firm is seeking an individual to provide technical oversight of environmental, safety, and health compliance activities at the Thacker Pass Project in Nevada. The candidate will assist management in safety requirements, lead risk assessments, and maintain databases for tracking incidents and audits. Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and relevant experience are required. This is a vital role in managing the company's commitment to safety and health in its projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree related to environmental, safety, health or science-related discipline and 8-10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in ES&H assessments/inspection during construction.
• Knowledge of national safety laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of ES&H compliance activities.
• Assist project and construction management with safety requirements.
• Lead teams in conducting risk assessment and mitigation planning.
• Prepare communications and incident investigation reports.

Skills

Knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910

Can perform root cause analysis

Conducts Project Contractor Orientation

Knowledge of safety programs and engineering systems

Experience in managing ES&H subcontractors

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field
