Job summary

Epicor Software Corporation is seeking a seasoned presales professional in the ERP space with deep knowledge of manufacturing and distribution. You will coach engineers, translate client needs into solutions, lead demonstrations, and manage POCs. You’ll build credibility through technical excellence and partner with sales to drive opportunities, including cost evaluations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of presales experience in the ERP industry.
• Background in supporting both direct and channel sales.
• Experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry.
• Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations.
• Candidates may have worked for SAP, Microsoft, Infor, Sage, QAD or other ERP companies or VARs.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Solution Engineers ensuring consistent and high standards of service delivery.
• Communicate with the sales team on new business opportunities, translate client’s technical requirements to a solution, drive the technical discussions, deliver custom demonstrations, and implement technical proofs-of-concept.
• Conduct technical presentation of company products, manage POC and trial processes with the clients.
• Establish outstanding business relationships and partnerships with the clients by demonstrating a high level of technical expertise, understand manufacturing business practises and establish credibility with the clients.
• Influence target clients by presenting company products values and benefits and by demonstrating product architectures and assisting with cost evaluation and pricing issues.
