Job summary

Epicor, a leading ERP provider, seeks a seasoned presales professional to join its global team. You will translate client requirements into solutions, drive technical discussions with sales, and deliver compelling demonstrations and POCs for manufacturing and distribution clients.

You will coach Solution Engineers, build strong client relationships, and collaborate across sales and engineering. Expect travel up to 50% domestically as you help customers optimize their operations with Epicor's

Qualifications

• 5+ years of presales experience in ERP industry or equivalent.
• Proven success supporting direct and channel sales.
• Experience in manufacturing and distribution industries.
• Experience giving customer presentations and demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Solution Engineers to maintain high service standards.

• Deliver product demonstrations and manage POC trials.

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Solution Engineers ensuring consistent and high standards of service delivery.
• Communicate with the sales team on new business opportunities, translate client's technical requirements to solution, drive the technical discussions, deliver custom demonstrations, and implement technical proofs-of-concept.
• Conduct technical presentation of company products, manage POC and trial processes with the clients.
• Establish outstanding business relationships and partnerships with the clients by demonstrating a high level of technical expertise, understand manufacturing business practises and establish credibility with the clients.
• Influence target clients by presenting company products values and benefits and by demonstrating product architectures and assisting with cost evaluation and pricing issues.
• 50% travel, domestic

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum of 5 years of experience of presales within the ERP industry or equivalent operational ERP experience
• Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales
• Experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry
• Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations
• Successful candidates may have worked for companies such as: SAP, Microsoft, Infor, Sage, QAD or other ERP companies or Value Added Resellers (VARs).

Qualifications

• 5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
• 2+ years of specialized/industry.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent manufacturing experience).
