Job summary

CompassX Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead an ERP integration program as part of a broader AI-driven transformation. The role focuses on coordinating across teams, driving a structured waterfall delivery, and maintaining rigorous governance through milestones and sign-offs.

Applicants should have ERP implementation experience (ideally Oracle EBS), strong stakeholder communication skills, and a proven ability to own programs independently.

Qualifications

• ERP integration or connectivity programs experience, ideally involving Oracle EBS.
• Waterfall-style delivery with formal milestones and disciplined scope/schedule/budget management.
• Solid grounding in project fundamentals: planning, risk/issue management, stakeholder reporting, and change control.
• Excellent communication skills to translate progress into business updates for senior leadership.
• Experience at a senior level, capable of owning a program independently with minimal oversight.
• Fortune 500 client experience, as a consultant or independent contractor.
• East Coast base with ability to co-locate with the team in the Atlanta area.
• PMP certification or equivalent training is a plus.
• Experience coordinating across US and Europe for distributed teams.
• Exposure to integration/middleware projects connecting modern apps to legacy systems.
• Familiarity with AI-driven transformation initiatives across enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for ERP integration within a broader AI-driven transformation initiative, driving planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.
• Own and maintain the project plan, schedule, and RAID log, keeping leadership informed at every stage.
• Coordinate across distributed teams, including Europe-based counterparts, to align work across time zones.
• Manage scope, timeline, budget, and stakeholder communications through the initial 5-month phase.
• Facilitate governance - status meetings, milestone reviews, change control, and sign-offs.
• Work with technical leads to resolve blockers and surface risks early.
• Manage change requests through a formal process in a waterfall delivery model.
• Support resource planning across workstreams to engage the right people.
