Job summary

The Senior Business Project Manager (ERP Implementation) at the New Jersey Department of Education will lead the statewide transition from NJCFS to Oracle Fusion NJHIVE, acting as the department-level program owner.

The role audits NJDOE processes, maps fiscal workflows, coordinates with OIT/OMB, manages risk and cutover activities, and supports post‑go‑live stabilization with training and manuals.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of progressive, hands‑on experience managing complex business transformations and ERP implementations.
• Masters or executive experience preferred.
• Mastery of process mapping, stakeholder management, and cross‑functional project frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and coordination among NJDOE, OIT, OMB, vendors and NJHIVE team.
• Audit, document, and map current fiscal workflows to the new COA.
• Plan and execute change management and communications for the transition.
• Oversee testing, cutover, and hypercare with a focus on stabilizing the first fiscal year close.
• Develop user manuals and post‑go‑live training programs.
