This position is responsible for providing high-level technical expertise and developing solutions using Oracle Peoplesoft Development tools and related technologies with the goal of providing the Pepperdine Community with a stable, reliable, and easy-to-use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The role may provide mentorship to junior developers.
Duties
Skills and Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and three (3) years of experience, or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, and two (2) years of experience. At least three (3) years of programming Oracle Peoplesoft ERP systems. Strong knowledge of programming techniques and software design using Peoplesoft Peopletools 8.5+ Development Environment; Peoplecode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, XML/BI Publisher, Integration Broker, WebServices Integration (SOAP/REST), SQR/SQC, SQL, and DMS scripting. Experience in analysis, design, testing, documentation, modification and upgrade enterprise-wide PeopleSoft applications. Strong collaboration, analytical, and problem solving skills; Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; Independent and self-motivated with ability to handle multiple tasks and work as part of a team.
Preferred: PeopleSoft (FSCM/HRMS/CSM) version 9.2. Experience with Linux OS. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Familiarity with Google collaboration tools. Familiarity with Asana.

This is a Regular, Exempt, 40 hour per week position.
Expected Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
The above pay range reflects what Pepperdine University reasonably expects to pay for this position at time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level. In addition to base pay, Pepperdine offers a robust and highly competitive benefits package.
