Job summary

Napa Valley College is seeking an Applications Support Analyst in the Institutional Technology department to provide technical, procedural, and process support for ERP and related applications.

The role involves user training, design and maintenance of complex software components, and leading software development projects. This is an on-site, full-time, 12-month position reporting to the Director, IT Operations.

Qualifications

• SKILLS are required to perform multiple, highly complex tasks and routinely upgrade skills to meet changing conditions.
• KNOWLEDGE includes operating systems, networks, databases, and programming concepts, with ability to interpret technical information.
• ABILITY includes prioritizing work, communicating with diverse groups, and working nonstandard hours.

Responsibilities

• Administers applications and operations for college functions (finance, HR, student, financial aid) to ensure service availability.
• Coordinates with IT staff to ensure cross-functionality and coverage across the college.
• Designs programs (reports, queries, interfaces) for effective use of software applications.
• Maintains software applications and upgrades to ensure efficient operations.
