The Senior ERP Application Analyst, Payroll plays a key role in optimization and supporting Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Workday ERP platform and serves as the expert in Workday payroll capabilities. This role serves as a strategic partner to Payroll, HR, business stakeholders and external vendors to maintain and optimize scalable, efficient solutions that improve operational processes and drive organizational value. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong payroll experience resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement. The Senior ERP Application Analyst, Payroll also helps shape the ERP roadmap and championing innovation through automation, AI, and intelligent workflows. In addition, this role mentors junior team members, promotes best practices, and supports a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience. Licensure, Certification & Registration: Workday Certifications, a plus Experience: 7+ years’ experience with ERP systems, 5+ specializing in Workday Payroll Experience with Workday Grants, a plus 2+ years’ experience with Workday integrations, security and custom reporting. Experience with several large scale, full cycle implementations. Workday Payroll Certification, a plus Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Experience configuring earnings, deductions, pay groups, payroll calculations, costing allocations, schedules Extensive experience with payroll and timekeeping systems Proven ability to analyze payroll reports and understand how registers and reports tie together Experience working in complex, matrixed environments, preferably within healthcare Proven ability to configure Workday business processes, custom validations, calculated fields to meet business requirements Proven ability to support and troubleshoot Workday integrations, including EIBs & Core Connectors Understanding of systems architecture, APIs, and integration best-practices. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues, manage competing priorities, and work independently in a remote/hybrid environment. Proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused mindset. Exceptional communication and analytical abilities. Empathetic approach to understanding customer needs and delivering high-quality solutions that drive satisfaction
Pay Range: $95,000.00 USD - $135,000.00 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
