Job summary

AmericanTCS seeks an experienced ERISA compliance specialist to assist with plan compliance and quality control. The role focuses on nondiscrimination testing, ERISA technical guidance, and QDRO reviews within a retirement plans team.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of ERISA regulations, be able to read plan documents, and handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines. Competitive salary and benefits are offered in the U.S.

Qualifications

  • College degree or relevant work experience required.
  • QKA designation preferred.
  • 10+ years of Retirement or Pension experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate PC, calculator, copier, scanner, and telephone.
  • Read and interpret plan documents with accuracy.
  • Expert knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nondiscrimination testing and other compliance tasks.
  • Provide ERISA technical guidance and quality review feedback.
  • Perform QDRO reviews for accuracy and determine awards.
  • Review death distributions for beneficiary and payout period.
  • Update compliance materials and participant forms in systems.
  • Resolve escalated technical issues from clients or staff.
  • Support plan design for new and existing clients.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of qualified plan regulations.
