Job summary

Sabancı Renewables, a growing renewable generation portfolio in ERCOT, seeks a Senior Commercial Associate/Executive to own hedging and market execution for the operating fleet and to support PPA origination and structuring for new opportunities.

You will form a market view, translate it into a hedging and trading strategy, and submit it into ISO markets, accountable for the result. You will work with the Head of Commercial & Finance in a lean team with visibility to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, economics, finance, mathematics or management (or Bachelor's with equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in U.S. power markets with ERCOT experience.
• Hands-on ERCOT experience including nodal pricing and congestion risk.
• Proficient in DAM/RTM, DART, CRR/PTP products and ancillary services.

Responsibilities

• Own hedging and market execution for the operating ERCOT fleet.
• Support PPA origination and structuring for new opportunities.
• Form market view and translate into hedging strategy; submit on ISO platforms.
• Develop DART strategy and post‑auction attribution of value.
• Own settlement validation and dispute resolution with ISO, QSE and counterparties.
• Build analytics tooling and apply AI/ML to forecasting and optimization.
• Report performance and market conditions to management.
