Qualifications

• RN license in the State of California is required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Assaultive Behavior Training per AB508/SB1299 within 30 days.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification 'A' within 3 months.
• Annual 8 hours of Stroke Education for QVH staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for acute or urgent emergencies.
• Provide patient and family education and appropriate referrals.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, safety and institutional policies.
