Indiana University Health is seeking an Emergency Room Financial Counselor to work onsite at IU West Emergency Department. The role involves identifying patients' financial needs, verifying coverage, and assessing options for financial assistance to help remove barriers to care.

Ideal candidates will have experience in hospital revenue cycle, knowledge of Medicaid and self-pay processes, and the ability to arrange payment plans.

Formación

• Experience in hospital or Emergency Department revenue cycle preferred.
• Knowledge of self-pay accounts, Medicaid eligibility, and charity care.
• Ability to verify coverage and establish payment arrangements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; teamwork and problem solving.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsabilidades
