Job summary

Weekday 1 in the United States is seeking a seasoned equity research analyst to forecast post-catalyst notes on single-name equities. You will apply filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation, and ratings to anticipate what a named analyst will publish after a catalyst.

You will document the internal workflow that drives research reports, review model-generated analyses, and grade them against your own standards. A senior track record in a top research franchise is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Former lead sell-side equity analyst with published post-catalyst research.
• Deep command of filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation, ratings.
• 8+ years of direct equity research experience or equivalent performance.
• Experience with major banks or research franchises preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecast the timing and content of a named analyst's post-catalyst research note.
• Reason from filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation and ratings to an expected published view.
• Document the internal research workflow that determines how and when an equity research report gets produced.
• Review model-generated analyses and grade them against your own standard.
