Obsidian is seeking a senior equity analyst to forecast and author publishes around named analyst post-catalyst notes. You will rely on filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation, and ratings to derive expected content and timing.

You will also document the internal research workflow and critique model outputs against your judgment, ensuring high-quality reports for real-time market evaluation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct equity research experience or equivalent performance.
• Experience publishing post-catalyst research in the named sector.
• Strong command of filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation, and ratings.

Responsibilities

• Forecast the timing and content of a named analyst's post-catalyst note.
• Reason from filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation and ratings to an expected view.
• Document the internal workflow behind equity research reports.
• Review model-generated analyses and grade them against your standards.
