Job summary

Mercor is seeking a senior equity research professional to forecast and publish post-catalyst notes on named analysts in the single-name equity domain. You will reason from filings, earnings data, transcripts, estimates, and ratings to produce a timely, well-justified view and document the internal workflow driving the research report.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of direct experience, with a track record of published post-catalyst research and deep knowledge of valuation techniques, earnings

Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct equity research experience or similar track record.
• Deep command of filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation, and ratings.
• Proven ability to develop research insights without hindsight.

Responsibilities

• Forecast timing and content of a named analyst's post-catalyst note.
• Reason from filings, earnings, transcripts, estimates, valuation and ratings to the expected view.
• Document the internal workflow behind an equity research report.
• Review model-generated analyses against personal standards.
