Job summary

Evercore ISI in New York seeks a Senior Equity Research Associate to cover Global Airlines & Lodging. You will blend traditional sell-side research with AI-enabled data insights, building and maintaining financial models, dashboards, and datasets to generate differentiated, thesis-driven research for institutional clients.

The role requires 1–3 years in equity research or related fields, strong Excel modeling, and proficiency in Python/SQL for data manipulation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS or Finance with a passion for equity research.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills; large dataset analysis.
• Excellent written communication; distill complex data into clear research output.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• 1–3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, data analytics, or related quantitative role.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed quarterly and annual financial models for covered companies, including forward estimates and scenario analysis.
• Produce timely written financial research, including earnings previews and thesis pieces.
• Track quarterly earnings, guidance changes, and management commentary.
• Monitor filings, transcripts, investor presentations, and industry data.
• Build dashboards/visualizations to summarize large datasets for senior analysts and clients.
