Job summary

Evercore ISI seeks an Equity Research Associate in New York to join the Media, Cable, Satellite & Telecom Services team. You will develop investment analyses, build financial models, and author research reports with high client engagement across AT&T, Comcast, Disney and more.

You will contribute to published research, monitor industry trends, and interact with investors, while advancing your career in a leading research platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in equity research, investment banking or related finance role.
• Exceptional analytical skills and Excel modeling capabilities.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation and fundamental investment analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; includes research writing and client interaction.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Genuine passion for equity markets and ability to develop expertise quickly.
• Experience using AI, automation, data analysis or other tech tools to enhance research productivity.
• Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Take meaningful responsibility for covered companies and develop differentiated investment analyses with high visibility.
• Develop and maintain company-specific and industry financial models.
• Perform financial, operational, and valuation analysis across coverage universe.
• Develop well-supported investment views and contribute to actionable stock recommendations.
• Author company-specific and thematic research reports with in-depth industry trend analysis.
• Monitor developments relevant to covered companies and investment theses.
• Attend industry events and engage with companies to form informed perspectives.
• Collaborate with team on in-depth company, industry and thematic research.
• Interact with corporate coverage and institutional investors.
• Oversee data collection and identify ways to improve research processes.
• Other duties as necessary
