Job summary

Evercore ISI seeks a Research Associate for its Global Retailing, Softlines & Luxury Brands team in New York. The role emphasizes equity research, financial modelling and delivering actionable stock calls within the consumer softlines space.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years of experience, strong Excel and accounting skills, and the ability to work with AI tools; base salary plus discretionary bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Equity research or investment banking experience is ideal.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Background in finance and accounting.
• Strong modeling / Excel capabilities, and ability to integrate those skills into new AI tools.
• Passion for businesses, equities, financial markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update financial models efficiently.
• Perform financial and valuation analysis of covered companies.
• Execute proprietary research projects that generate impactful stock calls.
• Assist with client requests & inquiries.
• Maintain databases and create tables and charts.
• Leverage AI to improve efficiency & productivity of the team/product.
• Participate in company management calls and conferences.
• Track relevant news articles relaying important messages to the team.
• Closely follow industry and economic data.
