Seagate Technology in Bloomington, MN is seeking an Engineering Specialist III (Onsite) to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of photo, plate, and test equipment in Wafer fabrication. You will read schematics, work with electronic circuits, PLCs and robotics, and follow PM instructions while establishing preventive maintenance programs and training colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Photo, Plate, and Test equipment in Wafer fabrication.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, PLCs, robotics; able to read schematics.
• Must follow safety procedures when handling chemicals.
• Experience in semiconductor or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of photo, plate, and test equipment in Wafer fabrication.
• Read schematics and knowledge of circuits, PLCs and robotics.
• Follow PM instructions and maintain equipment to company standards.
• Establish preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Administer training to ensure proper operation and maintenance.
• Exercise judgment and suggest solutions on assignments.
• Determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
• May provide guidance to other team members.
