Job summary

BD is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to drive asset reliability and continuous improvement across site operations in Nebraska. You will develop maintenance strategies for plant infrastructure and equipment, enforce technical standards, and coordinate spare parts and CMMS data to optimize asset life and performance.

Ideal candidates bring experience in troubleshooting, project management, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree required; BA/BS preferred in science/engineering.
• In lieu of an associate degree, 5 years technical or manufacturing experience required.
• 2 years Medical Device Manufacturing Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support site maintenance strategies and procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance plans and spare parts management.
• Monitor MTTR, MTBF, and maintenance costs for continuous improvement.
• Coach maintenance staff in reliability tools and problem solving.
• Benchmark against BD sites and external references.
