Job summary

BD in the USA (Broken Bow) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support engineering and production activities, focusing on equipment maintenance and validation.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree and at least 4 years in manufacturing maintenance, with knowledge of PLC-based control systems. Responsibilities include equipment design, debugging, and ensuring regulatory compliance with OSHA, GMP, FDA, and EPA standards.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate’s degree in electrical or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Manufacturing Technical Maintenance.
• Broad knowledge of fundamental principles of equipment design and PLC based control systems.
• Experience in high-speed automated manufacturing a plus.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manually operate a computer with a standard keyboard and to use small hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in the innovation and design and construction of manufacturing equipment.
• Involvement in directing outside Engineering firms in the design and construction of equipment.
• Coordinates and provides support in debugging of new equipment and may include validation support.
• Ensures that all equipment, processes, and facilities meet OSHA, GMP, FDA, EPA, etc. requirements.
• Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Coordinates communication between Division R&D and Plant personnel on new products and problems.
• Participates in Engineering and Production functions to achieve plant objectives.
