Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or GED, with training in heavy equipment and automotive repair, and 3–5 years of experience.
• On-call status and Class B CDL with air brake endorsement; must obtain within six months of hire for Airport, Parks, and Water Dept.
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams and repair manuals with attention to safety.

Responsabilités

• Performs complete repair and maintenance of heavy equipment used in civic construction projects and City vehicles.
• Documents problems, diagnoses basic mechanical issues, and repairs or replaces defective parts.
• Maintains knowledge of City fleet equipment and operates diagnostic tools.
