Blue Origin is seeking a Station Equipment Maintenance Senior Manager to lead the sitewide equipment maintenance program, driving performance, availability, and cost efficiency. You will collaborate with operations, automation engineering, reliability engineering, and external partners to keep manufacturing equipment at peak reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of equipment maintenance experience, including leadership.
• Strong CMMS knowledge and practices.
• Experience applying AI to maintenance in an industrial setting.
• Proven track record of improving equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor data-driven equipment maintenance strategies to enhance performance, longevity, and reliability of automated equipment.
• Manage the site maintenance staffing, ensuring timely and effective execution, measured against clearly defined metrics for success.
• Collaborate with reliability engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and permanently resolve equipment issues.
• Ensure execution of the enterprise maintenance advanced technology systems such as AI (deep learning, LLMs), IoT, and sophisticated analytics to enhance day-to-day maintenance functions - accelerating the team.
• Manage the site maintenance budget to stay on-track with planned expenditures and control unexpected costs.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of equipment performance, recommending and implementing improvements.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance across all maintenance activities.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement in maintenance processes through the adoption of the latest technologies and practices.
