Job summary

Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience, or a minimum of 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a union environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment and technical systems.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, and develop department staff with daily direction.
- Oversee scheduling, workload planning, and timecard management.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Supervise repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex equipment.
- Perform or guide equipment installations and system modifications.
- Inspect equipment and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Act as SME for legacy or high-complexity equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering for system integration, verification, and validation.
- Develop and maintain procedures and work instructions for operation and maintenance.
- Train operators and technicians on proper equipment use and safety.
