Job summary

International Drilling Equipment seeks a Senior Equipment / Fleet Manager to own lifecycle performance of IDE-owned equipment, from availability planning through deployment and redeployment. The role drives cross-functional accountability across Sales, Service, Inventory, Logistics and Finance and ensures accurate location, condition and readiness data.

• Senior-level leadership of substantial high-value equipment portfolios with readiness and cost accountability.
• Coordinate across commercial, technical and financial functions to make sound decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clear escalation judgment.
• Safety and financial discipline with formal sign-offs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment visibility: location, condition, status and readiness.
• Lead cross-functional planning for deployments, moves and redeployments.
• Coordinate repairs and manage asset costs, downtime and variances.
• Present recommendations with risks and financial implications.
• Develop routines, coach teams, and ensure timely escalation of exceptions.
• Ensure accurate asset records and adherence to release conditions.
