Drake seeks an Asset Manager to oversee equipment and physical assets across construction operations. You will ensure equipment is safe, reliable, well maintained, and available for field teams.

The role works with division managers, project managers, superintendents, maintenance teams, and vendors to optimize deployment, reduce downtime, and control costs while supporting forecasting and budgeting for future equipment needs.

Qualificações

• Experience in construction equipment management, fleet operations, or a related role.
• Ability to analyze equipment utilization and maintenance costs to support decisions.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and familiarity with asset management software or telematics.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate equipment records including location, hours, condition, ownership, and maintenance history.
• Coordinate equipment assignments, mobilization, transfers, and demobilization between projects.
• Monitor utilization and address idle, underused, or misallocated assets.
• Forecast equipment needs with Operations and compare owned vs. rental options.
• Manage preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and warranty work.
• Review repair estimates and monitor costs, quality, and turnaround times.
• Ensure safety standards, inspections, and compliance documentation are up to date.
• Negotiate pricing and service terms with dealers and rental companies.
• Track utilization, downtime, costs, and availability; report to leadership with recommendations.
• Support budgeting and capital planning for purchases, replacements, and disposals.
• Conduct job site visits to verify condition and usage and assist field teams.
