Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced attorney to join the Equipment Finance Legal Team. The attorney will support management, sales, credit, and negotiations for documentation relating to commercial leases, loans, and software financing products.

Will interact with vendors, resellers and financial institutions across the United States. The role involves drafting and negotiating vendor and servicing agreements, risk assessment, and developing contract templates for large-ticket transactions, with

Qualifications

• Licensed by and in good standing with the appropriate state bar association.
• Six+ years’ experience supporting complex commercial equipment lease and loan transactions.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Structuring, drafting, reviewing and negotiating vendor program agreements and servicing agreements.
• Reviewing third-party lending and leasing documentation for purchase through indirect channels.
• Lead in the provision of structuring, risk assessment, documentation, and transactional support for lending and leasing products.
• Developing and maintaining contract templates for large ticket transactions.
• Working with senior management, sales and credit teams on new financing products.
• Providing counsel on perfection, collateralization and other UCC issues.
