Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking an Equipment Engineering Manager to lead the semiconductor delivery equipment team across multiple sites including Chandler, AZ and other locations. You will drive safety, quality, reliability and efficiency while translating customer needs into compelling engineering solutions.

The role requires strong leadership, deep technical knowledge, and collaboration with Quality, Operations and Sales to ensure successful product releases and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in an engineering role, preferably in semiconductor equipment.
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the equipment engineering team to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.
• Own performance management, hiring, and workforce planning with a focus on capability building.
• Drive technology refresh, obsolescence management, and margin-improvement initiatives.
• Lead new equipment platforms from concept through controlled release and production readiness.
• Coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Service to ensure global success.
