Job summary

EMD Electronics seeks an Equipment Engineering Manager to lead semiconductor delivery equipment initiatives. Based in Breinigsville, PA, Chandler, AZ or Austin, TX, you will drive safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency across global delivery systems.

You will translate customer needs into valued offerings, manage a cross-functional team, and guide new product development, obsolescence management, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with SEMI, CE, UL, NFPA, IEC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in an engineering role.
• Experience with semiconductor aqueous chemical and slurry delivery preferred.
• Knowledge of SEMI, CE, UL, NFPA, IEC regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the equipment engineering team.
• Establish competency models, technical standards, development plans and disciplined engineering practices.
• Own performance management, hiring, workforce planning and resource allocation.
• Promote safety, customer focus, innovation, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
• Drive technology refresh, value engineering, obsolescence management and margin initiatives.
• Balance customer requirements with manufacturability, serviceability and quality.
• Lead development of new equipment platforms and configurations with stage-gate governance.
• Ensure production readiness, test readiness and controlled product release.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, CAPA and yield improvement.
• Ensure equipment compliance with SEMI, CE, UL, NFPA, IEC and regional standards.
