Job summary

Hudson Insurance Group, a market-leading specialty insurer headquartered in New York City, seeks a Claims Specialist to manage complex third-party liability claims with a focus on employment practices matters.

You will direct investigations, manage litigation, and collaborate with underwriting on policy renewals while delivering superior service to clients. Occasional travel to meetings, mediations, and trials is required; JD and multi-state licenses are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; JD preferred.
• 1-3 years experience a plus.
• Multi-state claim adjuster licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of complex third-party liability claims, including class actions and high exposure matters.
• Direct investigations, manage litigation, and prepare coverage position letters.
• Collaborate with underwriting on policy renewals and client relationships.
• Occasional travel for client meetings, mediations, and trials.
