Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking a Study Coordinator III to support epidemiologic studies and public health surveillance initiatives. The role involves coordinating domestic and international data collection, managing datasets, and preparing analyses and manuscripts for dissemination.

You'll work with epidemiologists, laboratory staff, and partners, developing educational materials and coordinating contracts and cooperative agreement submissions while ensuring data quality and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of epidemiologic research, public health surveillance, study coordination, and management of human and animal health data.
• Experience managing surveillance or research databases, including data entry, data cleaning, validation, quality assurance, and resolution of data discrepancies.
• Ability to support database design and maintenance, including development of data collection tools, case report forms, tracking systems, and standardized data elements.
• Ability to perform basic to intermediate analysis of epidemiologic or surveillance data and summarize findings for research, programmatic, or investigative use.
• Strong project coordination skills, including managing timelines, tracking deliverables, organizing meetings, maintaining stakeholder information, and coordinating activities across multiple workstreams.
• Knowledge of records management, data confidentiality, data integrity, and appropriate handling and electronic storage of human research or surveillance information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with epidemiologists, laboratory staff, public health officials, domestic and international partners, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical, educational, and public-facing materials, including reports, training materials, presentations, website content, and stakeholder communications.
• Experience supporting administrative and programmatic activities such as contract packages, cooperative agreement submissions, documentation requirements, and deadline tracking.
• Ability to contribute to scientific products, including data summaries, abstracts, presentations, manuscripts, and conference materials.

Responsibilities

• International surveillance system design, including development of databases for the collection of human and animal information.
• Management of domestic and international databases. Ensuring that data is entered in a timely fashion and conducting data quality assessments.
• Facilitates routine meetings between laboratory and epidemiology staff. Maintains working group contact information and coordinates meetings.
• Human records management. Participates in a working group to ensure that human data is appropriately recorded and electronically stored.
• Analyze data associated with epidemiologic studies.
• Present work at national/international conferences and prepare manuscripts for publication.
• Database design and entry of epidemiological data from ongoing research projects
• Analysis of data collected from evaluations or epidemiological research projects
• Coordinate revisions and updates to disease specific website.
• Facilitate educational program implementation; Develop and evaluate educational materials.
• Assist with the development and submission of contract packages; Manage project deadlines for contracts and CoAg submissions.
• Manage inquiries to ensure accuracy and timeliness of responses, providing responses as necessary.
• Database entry of case report form data from surveillance systems.
