Job summary

The role involves overseeing a multi-disciplinary team, guiding analyses with SAS and other tools, and delivering reports and publications annually. Hybrid telecommuting up to three days per week supported.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field.
• Experience in public health surveillance, data linkage, and data management.
• Knowledge of IRB processes and data-use agreements.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain IRB/DUA documents for sickle cell data collection.
• Coordinate data collection for the Sickle Cell Data Collection Program and prepare data requests.
• Provide direction on epidemiology reports, publications, and presentations.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team overseeing data collection and stakeholder visits.
• Develop dissemination plans and dashboards for presenting aggregate results.
• Collaborate with health policy partners to inform policy actions.
• Contribute to ongoing development of the state sickle cell data collection system.
• Support disaster response or COOP as needed.
