Job summary

MasterCraft Boat Company is seeking a Senior Software Developer to lead development efforts across the IT Business Enablement team. You will design architectures, build APIs, and drive modern application standards in a collaborative setting with analysts and business leaders.

The role requires 7+ years in software development, strong C#, .NET Core, SQL and API design, and proven Agile leadership. Epicor expertise and mentoring responsibilities are central to the position.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software development with C#, .NET Core, SQL and API design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing distributed systems and cloud-hosted applications.
• Strong leadership, communication and mentoring abilities.
• Proven success delivering large or complex solutions in Agile environments.
• Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices.
• Extensive relational database and operating systems experience.
• Experience developing test cases and test plans.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Design application and integration architecture using .NET, cloud services, and modern development patterns.
• Develop complex features, APIs, and services with minimal oversight.
• Lead code reviews, design sessions, and technical planning activities.
• Mentor junior Epicor developers.
• Drive process improvement and expand Epicor functionality to reduce external dependencies.
• Lead and architect complex Epicor customizations and integrations.
• Provide senior-level support, root-cause analysis, and system-wide troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with analysts, system owners, and business leaders to deliver scalable solutions.
