Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Senior Epic MyChart Analyst in Los Angeles with 4+ years of MyChart build/implementation and reporting experience. You will analyze workflows, build configurations, and document processes in collaboration with internal and external teams to optimize patient engagement.

Responsibilities include driving patient portal adoption, running analytics, and maintaining testing plans. Epic MyChart certification is required, with additional Epic modules preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Epic MyChart build/implementation, optimization, and support.
• Experience with Direct/Open scheduling, e-Check in, Patient Questionnaires, TeleHealth, MyChart mobile app, Result Release.
• Epic reporting and data analytics knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced operational and application build expertise for routine and complex assignments.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on workflow analysis, build, and documentation.
• Design and optimize the MyChart platform to improve patient happiness and engagement.
• Drive patient engagement through the patient portal.
• Run queries to report on various metrics.
• Participate in on-call rotation for off-hours end-user support.
• Develop and monitor testing scenarios; maintain testing plans.

What you will be doing:

• The Senior Epic MyChart Analyst provides an advanced level of operational and application build expertise in completing routine and occasionally more sophisticated assignments to meet customer goals and desired outcomes.
• Task and assignment focus is typically on medium to large projects, performing workflow analysis, build, and documentation in collaboration with internal and external team members.
• Uses creative skills to help increase patient happiness through designing and optimizing our MyChart platform.
• Drives patient engagement through our patient portal.
• Runs queries to report on various metrics.
• Participates in an on-call rotation to provide off-hours end user support.
• Develops and monitors testing scenarios and methodologies to demonstrate system efficiency.
• Prepares and maintains documentation on testing plans.

Experience Requirements

• Four (4) plus years of experience with Epic MyChart build/implementation, optimization, and support.
• MyChart experience with Direct/Open scheduling, e-Check in, Patient Questionnaires, TeleHealth (e-visits, video visits, etc.), MyChart mobile app, Result Release, or similar projects.
• Epic reporting and data analytics knowledge a plus.
• Experience with Epic Ambulatory and/or other Epic modules, preferred.

Educational/Certification Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field. (preferred)
• Epic MyChart certification required.
• Epic certification in Cadence, Ambulatory and/or other Epic modules, preferred.
