Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Epic MyChart Analyst to provide advanced Epic MyChart build, optimization, and support across medium to large projects. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver effective solutions that enhance the patient experience.

The role requires 4+ years of Epic MyChart development and certification. You will drive patient engagement via the MyChart portal, perform workflow analysis, and contribute to testing and documentation efforts

Qualifications

• Four or more years of Epic MyChart build/implementation experience.
• Experience with Direct/Open scheduling, e‑Check in, TeleHealth, MyChart mobile app, Result Release.
• Epic reporting and data analytics knowledge a plus.
• Epic MyChart certification required; Cadence/Ambulatory modules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workflows and build documentation with internal and external teams.
• Design and optimize our MyChart platform to increase patient happiness.
• Drive patient engagement through the patient portal.
• Run queries to report metrics and monitor system performance.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to provide off‑hours end user support.
• Develop and validate testing plans and scenarios.

What you will be doing:

The Senior Epic MyChart Analyst provides an advanced level of operational and application build expertise in completing routine and occasionally more sophisticated assignments to meet customer goals and desired outcomes.

• Task and assignment focus is typically on medium to large projects, performing workflow analysis, build, and documentation in collaboration with internal and external team members.
• Uses creative skills to help increase patient happiness through designing and optimizing our MyChart platform.
• Drives patient engagement through our patient portal.
• Runs queries to report on various metrics.
• Participates in an on‑call rotation to provide off‑hours end user support.
• Develops and monitors testing scenarios and methodologies to demonstrate system efficiency. Prepares and maintains documentation on testing plans.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

Four (4) plus years of experience with Epic MyChart build/implementation, optimization, and support.

MyChart experience with Direct/Open scheduling, e‑Check in, Patient Questionnaires, TeleHealth (e‑visits, video visits, etc.), MyChart mobile app, Result Release, or similar projects.

Epic reporting and data analytics knowledge a plus.

Experience with Epic Ambulatory and/or other Epic modules, preferred.

Educational/Certification Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED required.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare, or related field. (preferred)

Epic MyChart certification required.

Epic certification in Cadence, Ambulatory and/or other Epic modules, preferred.
